As our technician, you will help support our bike mechanics with repair tasks in our warehouse or store. This is a crucial role in the growth and continuity of Swapfiets. You will be trained in repairing, checking and preparing roadworthy bikes for our members. You will make sure everyone in the warehouse delivers the Swapfiets quality standards!

How you pedal us forward!

• Repairs, checks, cleans, and fixes Bikes following Swapfiets standards, under supervision;

• Prepares new (E-)Bikes and make them roadworthy and pre-assembles parts needed for bikes;

• Ensures the (E-)Bikes product and repair data is properly captured and up to date in repair database;

• Delivers on the Swapfiets quality promise following the standard operating procedures and the quality controls and audits;

• Keeps the workstation clean;

• Follows process for inventory management of (E-)Bikes and parts to keep healthy data up to date;

• Repairs special tasks like aligning/repairing wheels, preparing stock wheels to be installed, partial repairs for projects;

• Supports the team with preparations, help and cleaning;

The gear you need!

• You have basic knowledge about bikes, e-bikes, cars or anything related;

• You have an affinity with cycling, mobility, sustainability and service;

• Available to work a minimum of 38 hours per week on weekdays;

• Understand and speak English and/or Dutch;

• Whether working independently or as part of a team, you always work successfully!;
